Diana Louise Bartlett’s life became her work. She established her visual identity photographing from real life, inserting fashion into her reality. Photography remains her primary medium yet she regularly collaborates as a stylist and art director. She works instinctively to reflect human connection, emotion and vulnerability through the lens of the fashion image. A heightened level of reality and a poetic nod to the mundane are shown throughout her fashion, portraiture, and documentary work.
Born in California, now predominantly based between Paris and New York, Diana began her career as a stylist and interior designer which informs her ability to story tell in 360 degrees.
Diana shot Erin Wasson for the covers of Puss Puss’ Issue 22, the paralympians Beatriz Hatz and Noah Malone for Interview Magazine’s September 2024 issue and Kacey Musgraves for the cover of The Cut Magazine in March 2024. She also regularly shoots for Bally, Tod’s, Christopher Esber and Comme Si.
