Overview

Olivia Singer is a London-based editor, writer and creative consultant with a global reputation as a leading fashion tastemaker.

After starting her career in fashion at AnOther Magazine, where she left as Fashion Features Director in 2017, Olivia joined British Vogue under Edward Enninful’s new leadership and became his Fashion News Director. From 2022 until 2024, she held the title of Global Editorial Director of i-D Magazine, where she worked across the quarterly print magazine and oversaw the brand’s digital, social and video platforms.

She now continues her work with British Vogue as a contributing editor – writing for the magazine, hosting talks, and, in 2024, co-scripting the publication’s landmark exhibition, “Inventing The Runway”. In her consulting work, she supports brands in expressing and amplifying their storytelling, from directing editorial strategy to assessing and refining creative output. Her clients include Byredo, Chanel, Comme des Garçons, Fendi, Ferragamo, Hermès, Loewe, Louis Vuitton and Prada. Beyond her editorial and strategic work, she also partners with leading brands to create and deliver content that leverages her discerning sense of style and influential following.

Over the course of her career, Olivia has interviewed the world’s most renowned designers, from Rei Kawakubo and Miuccia Prada to Kim Jones and Virgil Abloh, as well as cultural icons like Serena Williams and Naomi Campbell. She has also passionately supported young talent both in front of and behind the scenes, sitting on panels for Fashion East, Newgen and the British Fashion Council while working with platforms like Rubric and Mentoring Matters to address the fashion industry’s barriers to entry.
